Post D60 shafts, u-joints, and drive flanges
kinda gonna be a 'research' thread - posting info that I find helpful.

Shafts -

I generally hate Yukon products, but it seems they have a decent D60 reputation -

Patricularly in competition use, machined for more turning clearnace.
$75 per shaft for clearancing. I'm thinking about it.

Superiors are really expensive - stubs like $450/Pair - and inners like $325 each. I finally got my first stub shaft (still waiting on the 2nd) that I broke in June! Not too impressed with their warranty times...

Though BillaVista likes them -

Nitro shafts seem like a good hit - $250 for a pair of stubs, and $250 each for an inner (custom length). (I've been happy with my Nitro D44 stub as well).

TenFactory - supposed to be the same as AlloyUSA... Dont know though... Havent talked to any vendors about them.

Warn doesnt exist anymore, neither does Alloy USA.

U-joints -

The bomb proof, no questions - CTM... problem is, they are $320 EACH!!!!
Longfield 300M joints - lots of people swear by them - $195 each, shipped (http://www.longfieldsuperaxles.com/)
Excalibur 300M u-joints - looks like they can be had for $190 each, shipped
(new to the market)

Spicer are available - like $50 each. These seem to be weaker than D60 alloy shafts, and arent really acceptable to me.

Drive Flanges -
It seems like everyone with an EDM or a broach tool makes driv flanges. I consider this to be a fairly un-breakable part, so I dont see any real difference other than the design on the cap.

Most all these are right around $200 + shipping.

Rock Crusher
Warn
Rock and Roll
Summit Machine
Solid Axle
Longfield
NorthWest Fab
PolyPerformance (http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavist ... ndex3.html)
Stock Spicer (but every vendor that I've seen selling these charges the same $200 as everyone else)
STaK 4x4 (http://www.stak4x4.com/Hub_Slugs/D60_hu ... spline.htm)
ATOR
I'm sure there are a bunch more... :beat:

currently, I'm looking at running this '35 spline kit'
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT
from: RPMOffroadAndDiesel.
35 spline Yukon 'Ford' (11.4") stubs shafts, and RockCrusher drive flanges - $370.

I've come to the conclusion that people on here just read my posts hoping to see pictures of my sister... if so - FUCK YOU!

I know those guys. Great guys. I've toured their shop in Bristol TN.

You can call direct if you want. I've dealt with both Justin and Jereme there.

RPM OFFROAD took first place in both Stock Full in the 06 Dodge Diesel and Class 8 in their Chevy.

Really nice guys.
